| Scientific evidence suggests that including nuts in the daily diet can reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular heart diseases (CVD) with an average of 30%. Although this can partly be explained by the cholesterol lowering effects of nuts it is unlikely that this alone can explain the observed reduction in risk.
