Macadamia cookies

Ingredients

  • 100 g soft butter
  • 2 sachets bourbon vanilla
  • 50 ml maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 pinch seasalt
  • 130 g wheat flour type 1050
  • 100 g white chocolate with a crisp filling
  • 100 g macadamia nuts, roasted and salted

Preparation:


1.  Pre-heat the oven to 180 °C (170 °C if using a fan-assisted oven).

2.  Beat the butter and the vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in the maple syrup and the egg. Stir in the flour mixed with baking powder and salt.

3.  Chop the chocolate finely, halve the macadamia nuts and fold both into the dough.

4.  Place rounds of dough, each measured out to 1 tsp., on a baking tray lined with baking paper, allowing sufficient space between them.

5.  Bake the cookies for 14-16 minutes.
