Peanut and chocolate biscuits

Ingredients

  • 150 g soft butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 1 /2 vial of butter-vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 60 g cocoa powder
  • 400 g chopped, salted peanuts

Preparation:


1. Whisk the butter with a hand-held mixer until smooth. Gradually add the brown and white sugar, vanilla sugar and essence while stirring.

2. Stir in each egg for approx. 30 seconds at the highest setting.

3. First stir in the flour mixed with baking powder, then stir in the cocoa powder and fold in the peanuts.

4. Using 2 teaspoons, place small portions on a baking tray lined with baking paper, allowing some distance between them. Caution: Dough expands during baking!

5. Bake for around 10 minutes at 180 °C upper/lower heat in a pre-heated oven or at 160 °C in a convection oven.
